A deep clean reaches the places a regular visit leaves for later: baseboards, switches, sills, door frames and the detail around bathroom fixtures. It is for a home you are living in, and it is often the first visit before a recurring schedule.
What a deep clean includes
Deep cleaning in San Diego homes starts from everything a recurring visit covers: kitchen counters, sink and stove top, the outside of the fridge and microwave, bathrooms from toilet to mirror to floor, dusting of reachable surfaces, floors vacuumed and mopped, and beds made with your own linens.
On top of that, the kitchen gets its baseboards, full detail on the cabinet fronts, light switches and fixtures, and window sills. The bathrooms get baseboards, grout detail beside the fixtures, light switches and fixtures, and window sills. Living areas and bedrooms get baseboards, light switches and fixtures, reachable ceiling fans, window sills and door frames.
Targeted high-heat steam on sinks, showers, tubs and toilets is included, exactly as on a recurring visit. Our targeted steam treatment uses only water and heat. We use surface-appropriate cleaning products for other tasks when needed. The cleaners bring their own supplies and equipment.

How a deep clean is planned

- Agree any add-onsAnything outside the deep clean scope, such as the inside of the oven, is agreed before the visit or left out.
- Confirm with a card on fileThe booking is confirmed once a card is saved at least 48 hours ahead; it is charged after the clean.
What a deep clean does not include
A deep clean is done in an occupied home, and that sets a firm limit: the inside of cabinets and drawers is never cleaned while your belongings are in them. That work belongs to a move-out clean, once the home is empty.
The inside of the fridge and the inside of the oven are add-ons on a deep clean, as are blinds, inside windows, sliding glass doors, a garage sweep and a single load of laundry. A full-room steam upgrade, which extends steam from the fixtures to a room's hard floors, grout and baseboards, is also an add-on. Any of these is agreed with you before the visit and never done without asking.
Wide-plank wood and high-gloss lacquer are never steamed, whatever the visit.
Before, during and after the visit
Before the visit, we confirm the size of the home, what you want the cleaners to focus on, the date and time and how they will get in. The price is confirmed with you in writing before anyone arrives, and the booking is confirmed once a card is saved on file at least 48 hours ahead. Saving the card places no charge and no hold; it is charged after the clean is complete.
On the day, picking up clutter lets the time go to the detail work rather than tidying. You do not need to be home, and pets can stay if they are calm around visitors. Please keep door codes, alarm codes and key locations out of the request form; access is agreed directly.
Afterwards, if anything was missed, tell us within 24 hours. Every clean comes with a 24-hour re-clean guarantee, and the missed area is cleaned again at no additional charge.
Deep clean first, then a regular rhythm
Many homes start with a deep clean and move to recurring house cleaning once the baseline is set. The deep clean does the slow work once; the regular visits then keep it there without repeating it every time.
If you are worried the home has gone too long, read whether a home can be too dirty for a cleaning service. Very large homes are scoped separately after a walkthrough rather than at a flat rate, so mention the size of the home in the request. If you are ready, request a clean and describe the rooms that need the most attention.

Does a deep clean include the inside of my cabinets?
No. In an occupied home the inside of cabinets and drawers is never cleaned. That is part of a move-out clean in an empty home.
Is the inside of the oven or fridge included?
Not on a deep clean. Both are add-ons agreed with you before the visit. They are included on a move-out clean.
Do I need a deep clean before recurring visits?
If the home has not had a professional clean in the last 30 days, the first visit is normally planned as a deep clean.
Can I stay home during the deep clean?
Yes, or you can be out. Either works; access is agreed with you when the visit is confirmed.
